Professor Chi Ming Chan has been named one of Top 50 Authors (Most Cited, 2002-2008) in Polymer. A paper by Professor Chi Ming Chan and his research team is also on the Top 20 Cited Articles list (2000-2002).

- Professor Yongli Mi and researchers from Arizona State University have, for the first time, constructed a DNA 3D object by a single strand DNA and successfully cloned the DNA 3d in vivo. Results have been published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society.
